Now we can talk about the second part of the Las Vegas Trip...

After our few days in "sin city" we were able to escape to Pahrump, Nevada, where Grandma Carolyn and Joe spend their weekends. There we had a lot of fun starting, obtaining data, and almost completing all of Jonathan's science experiment (thank you Carolyn, she did ALL the tough work this year). We also had some wonderful evenings together talking and spending quality and quantity time together. At one point Jonathan asked Grandma Carolyn if it was safe to go outside and play alone, and she made a funny joke. They live in a community where most people are older, and she said something to the effect of 'they've already had their children and raised them, they don't want any more'. Danny then said something like 'if someone tries to grab you, just walk away fast'. Too funny! Anyway, here are photos of Grandma Carolyn helping Jonathan with his science project, and mom, here are some photos of the final product! Guess what, Jonathan earned 1st place on his project for his class... we'll see how he does grade wise, we'll keep you posted! Thank you for all your hard work and your sweet hospitality, you made all the difference!
